One of the highlights of the range this year is the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes, a cuvée that might well be the finest rendition of this site that I've tasted from Colin. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of pear, almond paste, orange oil, freshly baked bread, white flowers and buttered popcorn, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and satiny, with an elegantly textural attack, fine depth at the core and a long, chalky finish. I'll certainly be seeking some out. William Kelley 92-94 A slightly leesy nose of various white orchard fruit and just sliced citrus gives way to fresh and tension-filled middle weight flavors that possess very good mid-palate density, all wrapped in refreshing, lemony and bone-dry finale. This tightly wound effort should repay up to a decade of cellaring. Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!
