2016 Dauvissat Chablis 1er Montee de Tonnerre

Cool and restrained aromas are comprised mostly by notes of mineral reduction and white flowers where additional breadth is present in the form of tidal pool, muscat and orange peel. The strikingly refined flavors possess a supple and caressing mid-palate yet the intensity really builds on the focused and energetic saline-inflected finish. At least some patience will be required to develop more depth but this should still drink well after only a few years if that's your preference.  Burghound 92 Outstanding!
