2013 Fevre Chablis Preuses (Domaine)

A discreet application of wood sets off a cool and ultra-elegant nose that offers up scents of pear, pineapple, white flowers, sea water and oyster shell. There is excellent volume to the medium-bodied and admirably concentrated flavors yet this is not really a powerful wine so much as it is focused and harmonious; indeed the word Zen describes the gorgeously well-balanced finish. This will be approachable young but I would advise holding it for 5 to 8 years.  Burghound 93
