2012 Chateau Revelette Rose

Temperatures here in Los Angeles feel like its the middle of July. There is nothing more refreshing on a warm afternoon/evening than a delicious bottle of finely made Provence rose. This is one of the first to arrive this season and what a beautiful wine it is.

Its an assemblage of 65% Grenache Noir, 20% Cinsault, 10% Carignan, & 5% Ugni Blanc, is crisp, pale, and fresh like Provence rosé should be, but still possess enough body to give it decent complexity. Revellette rosé is currently my pick for barbecues and weekend afternoons with family & friends. This is another wine I recommend having multiple bottles on hand at all times this summer.
