The color remains pale gold and the nose reflects this youthfulness because while there are hints of exotic fruit and soft secondary scents, this is surprisingly fresh for a 14 year old Chablis from a difficult vintage. Consistent with the nose, the delicious, round and solidly well-concentrated flavors exude a fine bead of minerality before culminating in a lingering, balanced and lightly saline and mineral-inflected finish. This has turned out extremely well and still has plenty of life ahead of it. - Burghound 92
