Domaine André Robert

From the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, André Robert's "Les Jardins du Mesnil" is a pure expression of this iconic Grand Cru village. The estate, now run by Jean- Baptiste Denizard, continues the family's focus on precision, purit, and vinevard expression. Sourced from estate vineyards in Le Mesnil, this 100% Chardonnay captures the energy and mineral drive of the village's famed chalk soils with striking clarity.

The grapes are hand-harvested and pressed as whole clusters, then fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is aged on the lees in older French oak barrels (40% of the wine) and vinified in stainless steel (60%). It is aged for 10 months in barrel and a total of approximately 4 vears on the lees. Disgorged in Tuly 2022 with a low dosage of 1.5 g/L, this Extra Brut is vivid and precise, offering citrus, white flowers, and a saline, chalky mineral drive that speaks directly of Le Mesnil.
