The ultra-dense, indeed almost thick, flavors are borderline aggressively stony, which adds a sense of lift to the bitter citrus-inflected finish that, somewhat curiously, falls off somewhat relative to the best in the range. The vineyard is very steep on the south-west facing side, so it gets ripe yet keeps the stones. A wealth of fruit, almost a touch oily, significant grip behind, and leaves salt on the lips.
