However, the small production is made up a bit by absolutely superb quality, as the wine offers up a stunningly pure and complex nose of lemon blossoms, apple, white peach, a great base of terres blanches soil tones, citrus oils and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and gorgeously complex, with ripe acids, superb focus and balance and brilliant length and grip on the very intensely flavored finish. The low yields here have again given the wine an almost silky mid-palate texture that is so rare and exciting!
