A dramatic Barolo that finishes with huge, sweet tannins and powerful, vibrant flavors of crystallized red fruits, flowers and camphor. The seductive 1999 Rocche is simply superb. Itopens with a captivatingly expressive floral nose thatmelds seamlessly onto a vibrant palate packed with layersof perfumed dark red fruit and minerals, with exceptionallength, fine tannins and a sweet, long finish. Although thisBarolo will continue to evolve in the bottle it is nearlyimpossible to resist today.
