Bright, fresh and pretty aromas of red berries and earth lead to nicely dense and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess an appealing texture while delivering fine length on the youthfully austere finish where a touch of warmth slowly appears. This is quite good for its level with enough structure to repay a few years of cellaring. Burghound 86-89 Outstanding!
Offering up aromas of sweet berries and cherries complemented by hints of rose petals, the 2020 Bourgogne Côte d'Or is medium to full-bodied, lively and perfumed, with fine, powdery tannins and succulent acids. Surrounded on either side by holdings entitled to the Gevrey-Chambertin AOC, it's a superior Bourgogne that punches above its weight. William Kelley 88
