A deft but still perceptible dollop of wood can be found on the ripe and very fresh nose of poached plum, black raspberry and plenty of sauvage nuances. The texture of the broad-shouldered flavors is also quite sleek with a relatively supple mid-palate that contrasts with the firm, youthfully austere and structured finale that displays huge length and ample minerality. This is also very much built to reward long-term cellaring and here too I would strongly suggest not touching a bottle for at least ten years. This is brilliant. Burghound 93-96 Don't Miss!
