The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has also turned out nicely, displaying aromas of pear, fresh bread, confit lemon and nutmeg, framed by a promising—at this stage in its élevage—touch of reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's ample and elegantly textural, but built around a lovely spine of acidity, concluding with a lively finish. William Kelley 92-94
Vague hints of exotic fruit float in the background of the citrusy aromas of green apple, white peach and lemon confit. The delicious and relatively tightly wound flavors exude a subtle minerality on the bitter zest inflected finish where the only reproach is a hint of warmth. This well-made effort should also age well. Burghound 91 Outstanding!
