2019 Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot-Les Fairendes

A mentholated top note is present on the overtly floral-suffused nose of mostly pear and apple compote notes. The dense, suave and seductive yet powerful full-bodied flavors are rich to the point of opulence, even viscous, as the abundant dry extract coats the palate on the beautifully long finale. While this could be approached young, it should also easily reward up to a decade of cellaring. Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!
