Tasted here with winemaker Geoffroy Choppin de Janvry on the 17th of Jan. It is hard not to like the 2015's chez Morot - this is an estate that in my opinion keeps getting better and better. They are now a certified organic producer but they have been farming that way since the 2005 vintage. The work in the vineyards and that attention to detail is really starting to show with the wines as there is much more polish and refinement in the wines. Wines have plenty of fruit, great structure with impeccable balance and the one quaitly I really like with this wine is the fantastic acidity. 7% whole cluster, roughly 30% new wood so that means of the 13 barrels produced 4 are new. This cuvee is very hightly recommended. Vins Rare 93
