A completely different aromatic profile offers up a wide variety of spice and floral elements, in particular rose petal and violet, that add a touch of elegance to the tea, cassis and dark cherry-scented nose. There is a rich, suave and velvety texture to the palate coating medium weight flavors that deliver excellent length on the firm but not really austere finish. This is a big Suchots and one that is also clearly built-to-age though the abundant sap should allow it to be enjoyed after 5 years or so though it will need 12 to 15 to reach its apogee.
