2014 Mikulski Meursault 1er Genevrieres

Here the expressive and beautifully layered nose flirts with reduction yet on the whole the softly exotic white orchard fruit and spice aromas remain essentially typical for a fine Genevrières. There is fine verve on the beautifully intense and seductively textured flavors that possess very good punch on the driving, chiseled and mineral-inflected finish. This isn't quite as complex as the best here though it is still really quite lovely. Burghound 92
