2010 Morot, Albert Beaune Les Marconnets

A cool, restrained and somber nose of purple fruit and violets leads to intense, precise and equally restrained middle weight flavors that ooze a fine minerality on the dusty, mouth coating and notably firmer finish. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated but given how compact this is at present I wouldn't be inclined to open one too early. Burghound Outstanding 90-92
