DESCRIPTION

Not nearly as black as the Les Cailles with more emphasis on red raspberry fruits and pinot aromas with a subtle note of austerity and quiet reserve. There is good structure here but it is almost invisible beneath the multilayered flavors of earth and pinot extract and the length is stunning. Not powerful but it is complete and very classy. The best wine here today. Burghound 90-92
